Creative collaborations

Across King’s Road Chelsea, we like to support creative talent from all over the UK, to both showcase their work and bring something visually energising to our community. You will find Tiffany Matthews, with her bright, graffiti style artwork (kickstarted during the pandemic) that explore both virtual and multi-dimensional realities. Visitors will receive VR goggles on entry to be immersed in the cosmos’. A female pioneer in the crypto world, Matthews’ paintings are also available as NFT’s. 10% of proceeds of this exhibition will go to Battersea Dogs Home.

TA x LDN on 10th - 28th Sept 2022, 340 King’s Road.

Antoinette Jordaine - a long time Chelsea resident (her parents lived near the area around the 70’s) of West Indian heritage, Antoinette Jordaine studied fine art, graphics, design technology and later fashion design at LCF. Whilst she creates customised homeware and clothing pieces - a business that came about through customer demand - Antoinette focuses mainly on her artwork (with an exciting project coming soon to the area in 2023 ) and also photography. A through line across her work is her love of architecture, interiors, travel, design - in particular the Chelsea area, from the juxtaposition of the new build waterfront buildings with the historic old gaswork ones to the green spaces and community. Antoinette, inspired by her father’s Nikon photography, documented her experiences and captured isolated moments during lockdown, mainly using her Samsung Iphone as well as experimenting with 35mm film techniques: a stunning eye for light and composition, she ‘looks for as little elements as possible in the shot.’ She is particularly inspired by Brutalist architecture of the 70’s - and how beauty can be found in the less obvious. We LOVE these images of landmark Chelsea buildings and areas.
